Yogyakarta - Based on Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 31 of 2022 concerning One Data on Education, Culture, Research and Technology, overall every university in Indonesia is obliged to report data on the implementation of higher education in the Higher Education Data Base (PDDikti) which is a nationally integrated collection of data on the implementation of higher education for all tertiary institutions.

Higher education institutions must submit reports on the implementation of higher education to PDDikti regularly by filling out instruments via the Feeder application. Along the way, several challenges were still encountered in reporting. For this reason, LLDIKTI Region V is holding Technical Guidance for PDDikti Management on March 26 2024 at the Santika Premiere Hotel Yogyakarta as a form of LLDIKTI Region V's efforts to provide maximum support to private universities within LLDIKTI Region V, especially for elementary level PDDikti managers.

The main objectives of implementing this activity include increasing the understanding of PDDikti managers, especially at the basic level, about various technical and administrative aspects in managing PDDikti, increasing practical skills/capacity building in managing and maintaining PDDikti data efficiently and accurately, updating participants' knowledge about regulations, policies, and the latest procedures related to PDDikti data management, providing practical guidance on the use of the PDDikti system related to PDDikti management.

The Technical Guidance was opened by the Head of LLDIKTI Region V, Setyabudi Indartono by presenting guest speakers Gendro Santoso (Head of the PDPT Section, Alma Ata University), Hemi Purwanto (Head of the Academic Reporting Section, Bachelorwiyata Tamansiswa University), Basit Adi Prabowo (Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta).
