Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology Successfully Holds PKKMB 2024 with the Theme "Ngudar Nyudi Ngayuh Luhur"

Yogyakarta, September 23-25, 2024 – Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisutjipto (ITDA) successfully held the 2024 New Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB). This three-day event, themed “Ngudar Nyudi Ngayuh Luhur”, aimed to equip new students with character values, academic spirit, and aerospace insights that are distinctive to ITDA.

PKKMB 2024 was officially opened by the ITDA Rector, Colonel Tek Dr. Nur Priyanto Poupon, M.Pd., on Monday, September 23, 2024, through an opening ceremony. In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline, and a strong learning spirit as fundamental principles in pursuing education at ITDA. He also expressed his hope that new students would make the most of their college years to develop themselves, achieve success, and contribute to the nation's progress.

Series of Activities in PKKMB 2024
PKKMB 2024 featured a variety of activities that not only aimed to introduce the campus environment but also foster character development and creativity in new students. Some of the main activities held during PKKMB included:

  1. Introduction to Campus Facilities and Study Programs
    In this session, new students were given a tour of the campus to familiarize themselves with the facilities such as the library, laboratories, and aircraft hangar. In addition, faculty members and student organization representatives introduced the academic programs and activities they would undertake.

  2. Character Building and Discipline
    Through various soft skills training, new students were encouraged to understand the importance of discipline and responsibility, which are essential elements of aerospace education at ITDA. The organizing committee also provided guidelines on the campus rules and regulations that all students must adhere to.

  3. Visit to the TNI AU Monument of Struggle and Dirgantara Mandala Museum
    As part of the introduction to aerospace history, new students were invited to visit the TNI AU Monument of Struggle and the Dirgantara Mandala Museum. This activity provided insights into the role of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) in the history of Indonesia’s air defense.

  4. Talent and Creativity Performances (Inauguration Night)
    To conclude the series of events, an inauguration night was held on September 25, 2024, where new students showcased their talents and creativity through various performances. This event not only served as entertainment but also as a platform to foster teamwork and camaraderie among students.

With the successful implementation of PKKMB 2024, ITDA hopes that new students can build a solid foundation for pursuing higher education and prepare themselves to become competent young leaders in the aerospace field.
