Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) Welcomes a Visit from Bappenas to Discuss National Aerospace Policies and Issues

Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) welcomed a visit from the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) for a discussion and consultation on national aerospace policies and related issues on Monday (October 27).

The delegation was led by Mr. Eddy Satriya, Senior Planner and Deputy for Infrastructure Affairs, accompanied by Mr. Rizki Sammyho Putera (Coordinator for Aerospace and Space Communication) and Mr. Bintang Rahmat Wananda (Coordinator for Space Remote Sensing and Ecosystem Development).

The Rector’s remarks, delivered by Vice Rector II, (Ret.) Colonel Dr. Sidik Budiwidodo, S.Si., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed ITD Adisutjipto’s commitment to supporting the government’s vision of achieving advanced, independent, and sustainable national aerospace development.

During the presentation, Bappenas outlined several potential areas of strategic collaboration between the government and higher education institutions, including ITD Adisutjipto. These areas include research and development of aircraft technology, human resource development and aerospace specialization education, pilot projects and technology demonstrations, and strengthening policies and the national aircraft development roadmap. As an institution focused on aerospace education and research, ITD Adisutjipto is ready to take an active role in supporting these initiatives through enhanced academic capacity, applied research, and innovation in aviation technology.

The event, held at the Husein Sastranegara Hall of ITD Adisutjipto, was attended by the university’s leadership, deans, and heads of study programs. The meeting served as a strategic forum to strengthen synergy between the government and higher education institutions in supporting the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029 and the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2026–2027, particularly in the aerospace sector.
