The Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisutjipto (ITD Adisutjipto) celebrated its graduates during a commencement ceremony on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Indraprasta Grand Ballroom, Sahid Raya Hotel and Convention Yogyakarta. A total of 324 graduates from 2 faculties and 6 study programs were conferred their degrees at the ceremony.
This year’s graduation is a special occasion for ITD Adisutjipto, with an average GPA of 3.29—an increase from last year’s 3.24. Among the graduates, 69 were awarded cum laude honors. The top undergraduate graduate of ITD Adisutjipto is Calvin Delano Immanuel Pangkey, S.T., from the Aerospace Engineering program, Faculty of Aerospace Technology, with a GPA of 3.97 and cum laude honors, completing his studies in 4 years, 5 months, and 27 days. For the diploma program, the top graduate was Sunu Aditya Pamungkas, A.Md.T., from the Aeronautics program, Faculty of Aerospace Technology, with a GPA of 3.65, cum laude honors, and a study period of 2 years, 10 months, and 28 days.
The graduation ceremony was officially opened and presided over by Marsma TNI (Purn) Wahyudi Sumarwoto, S.E., M.Si., Chairman of the ITD Adisutjipto Senate, accompanied by the Rector, Dr. Nur Priyanto Poupon, M.Pd.. In addition to the Rector’s address, the ceremony also featured a speech from KASAU (Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force), as the Patron of the Adiupaya Foundation (YASAU), delivered by Marsekal Muda TNI Jemi Trisonjaya, S.M., M.Tr.(Han)., M.I.Pol., Inspector General of the Indonesian Air Force (Irjenau). A message from the Regional Coordinator of LLDIKTI Region V was also delivered by Pungki Herawati, S.IP., M.A., Head of the Protocol, Public Relations, and Secretariat Team.
The event was attended by Marsda TNI (Purn) Ir. Tri Bowo Budi Santoso, M.M., M.Tr.(Han)., Chairman of YASAU, along with other YASAU executives, leaders of private universities under YASAU, representatives from LLDIKTI Region V, industry partners collaborating with ITD Adisutjipto, and other distinguished guests.
ITD Adisutjipto continues to uphold high academic standards by focusing on aerospace science and technology. The institution currently holds the top ranking among private aerospace universities in Indonesia, according to SINTA (Kemendikbudristek). The Rector emphasized the importance of graduates promoting ITD Adisutjipto by embodying the four core values instilled during their education: honesty, perseverance, sincerity, and discipline. These values are expected to guide them in achieving professional success and bring honor to the alma mater. Additionally, their contributions will play a vital role in the nation's development.
