On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the Adisutjipto Aerospace Institute of Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) solidified a strategic partnership with several stakeholders through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, a Cooperation Agreement, and an Implementation Arrangement. As a Private Higher Education Institution (PTS) under the auspices of the Adi Upaya Foundation (Yasau) and directly supported by the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), ITD Adisutjipto reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education, particularly in the fields of research and community service.
In an effort to create inclusive and high-quality higher education, ITD Adisutjipto has collaborated with various parties, including global technology companies such as PT QS 200, DUDI, and Pandi. Research, innovation promotion, and the implementation of the latest technologies are the main focus in supporting the advancement of the aerospace sector, both nationally and regionally.
The partners who signed the agreement include the Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Commission, Dr. Ir. Soerjanto Tjahjono, the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of Kulon Progo Regency, drh. Drajat Purbadi, M.S, the Rectors of Nurtanio University and Tunas Pembangunan University Surakarta, the Vice Rector II of Respati Indonesia University Yogyakarta, the Vice Rector III of Yogyakarta State University, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology of UKDW, the Director of the Training Center from the Higher Aerospace Technology School, Representatives from Mercu Buana University and the Managing Director of PT Solusi 247. Also present were representatives from the AAU Governor, representatives from Danlanud Adisutjipto, Widya Mataram University, PT YPTI, and Aruvana.
In his address, the Rector of ITD Adisutjipto, Air Marshal TNI Dr.Ir. Arwin Datumaya Wahyudi Sumari, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., ACPE, APEC Eng., expressed his hope that this collaboration would open new opportunities for sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation for all parties involved. "We are committed to strengthening this relationship through jointly implemented programs. With a spirit of togetherness and high commitment, I believe we will achieve extraordinary accomplishments and make positive contributions to the world of education and the progress of the nation," he said.
