The Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) has established a strategic partnership with PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF AeroAsia) through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (MoU) on education and training, held in the Madukoro Room, Sahid Jaya Hotel Yogyakarta, on Wednesday (October 8, 2025). The signing was carried out by Dr. Ir. Teguh Wibowo, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector I of ITD Adisutjipto, representing the Rector, Air First Marshal Dr. Nur Priyanto Poupon, M.Pd., and Mrs. Mitra Piranti, Director of Human Resources at GMF AeroAsia.
This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening synergy between higher education and the national aviation industry. Through this agreement, both parties have agreed to develop internship, industrial training, and research programs aimed at enhancing students’ competencies in the field of aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
Vice Rector I of ITD Adisutjipto, Dr. Ir. Teguh Wibowo, S.T., M.T., stated that this partnership is part of the institute’s efforts to expand its industrial network while preparing graduates who are competent and adaptable to the demands of the aviation sector. Meanwhile, Mrs. Mitra Piranti, Director of Human Resources at GMF AeroAsia, expressed GMF’s commitment to supporting ITD Adisutjipto students through practical learning opportunities, training, and internships.
The agreement will be valid for three years and covers cooperation in the fields of education, research, training, and community service, serving as a concrete step in developing highly qualified human resources for the national aerospace sector.
