This meeting focused on discussing improving the quality of higher education in the LLDIKTI Region V region, especially in terms of improving accreditation and achieving superior study program targets.

This Joint Commitment Draft is a strategic document that serves as a reference for universities and foundations in a joint effort to improve the quality of institutions. This commitment includes the active role of each party, both university leaders and foundation leaders, in supporting policies and improving program accreditation, as well as realizing superior study programs.

At this meeting, LLDIKTI Region V provided important direction regarding the standards and strategies that must be implemented by universities to achieve these targets. This joint commitment emphasizes the importance of improving accreditation as the main indicator of university quality. Each university is expected to be able to formulate strategic steps to improve institutional and study program accreditation, with the target of achieving superior accreditation status.

The foundation as the organizing body of the university is expected to have a strong commitment to supporting the availability of capable resources, both in terms of funding, infrastructure, and quality teaching staff. This is important to ensure that all quality improvement programs run smoothly.

This draft emphasizes the importance of good synergy between the foundation and university leaders in formulating policies that support the development of academic quality. Strong cooperation is needed so that both parties can work in harmony to achieve the same goals, especially in terms of accreditation and the development of superior study programs.

In the meeting, LLDIKTI Region V acted as a facilitator and policy director regarding how universities can improve accreditation and develop superior study programs. LLDIKTI Region V emphasized that achieving superior accreditation status is not only the responsibility of universities, but also as a foundation as the main supporter in providing resources and policy strategies.

The Head of LLDIKTI Region V said that this commitment is an important step in facing global competition in the field of higher education. With the improvement of good accreditation and superior study programs, private universities in the LLDIKTI Region V environment are expected to play a more significant role in producing highly competitive graduates, as well as contributing to the development of superior human resources.

The meeting between LLDIKTI Region V, APTISI, and ABPPTSI to prepare this Joint Commitment Draft is a strategic step in an effort to improve the quality of universities in the LLDIKTI Region V environment. With a strong commitment from university leaders and foundations, as well as full support from LLDIKTI Region V, it is hoped that all private universities in this region can achieve the target of increasing accreditation and developing superior study programs. This will not only improve the quality of higher education in the Yogyakarta region, but also strengthen the position of PTS DIY both nationally and globally.
