Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) held a series of important and strategic activities on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, consisting of the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Narcotics Agency of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (BNNP DIY), an Anti-Drug Seminar, and the Inauguration of the Task Force for the Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN Task Force).
The event took place at the Husein Sastranegara Hall and was attended by 229 participants, including students and alumni from various study programs within ITD Adisutjipto. The event opened with the signing of the Implementation Agreement between the Head of BNNP DIY, Police Brigadier General Andi Fairan, S.I.K., M.S.M., and the Vice Rector II of ITD Adisutjipto, Colonel (Ret.) Drs. Syafrudin Abdie, M.Kom. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to preventive efforts against drug abuse in higher education institutions.
The seminar carried the theme "Strategies for Drug Prevention in the Air Transportation System", featuring the Head of BNNP DIY as the keynote speaker. The seminar aimed to provide students and alumni with in-depth understanding of the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of maintaining a clean and drug-free working environment, especially in the aerospace and air transportation industries.
On this occasion, the P4GN Task Force composed of ITD Adisutjipto students—particularly from the student organization UKM Denaka—was also officially inaugurated. These students will serve as change agents and anti-drug ambassadors within the campus community. Through this collaboration, ITD Adisutjipto hopes to continuously foster sustainable synergy with BNNP DIY in the form of education, training, and student empowerment as the front line in the national anti-drug movement.
