Abista Bintang, a student of Aerospace Engineering at the Adisutjipto Institute of Technology (ITDA), has been crowned Genre Ambassador of Sukoharjo 2024. Along with Nada Madya Asmara, Abista outperformed 18 other finalists in the grand final of the Sukoharjo Genre Ambassador Appreciation 2024 held at the Menara Wijaya Building on Saturday (3/8/2024).
The grand final event, which began around 1:00 PM WIB, was attended by members of the Sukoharjo Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) and several Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of the Sukoharjo Regency Government. A total of 20 finalists competed in tests of knowledge and awareness related to reproductive health, drug prevention, free sex, and HIV/AIDS. The finalists answered questions from three judges who were professionals from the modeling industry, academia, and the Sukoharjo Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women’s Empowerment, and Child Protection (DPPKBP3A).
Out of the 20 finalists competing, only six finalists advanced to the top three rounds, consisting of three male finalists and three female finalists. They were tested again by answering questions on these crucial topics. The judges then announced the scores of each finalist who made it to the top three rounds, with Abista Bintang achieving the highest score among all finalists.
Abista is determined to motivate the younger generation regarding reproductive health and to create a youth community free from drugs, free sex, and HIV/AIDS. This achievement is a source of pride for ITD Adisutjipto, demonstrating the quality of its students who excel not only academically but also contribute positively to society.
