In a significant move to advance aerospace education and cross-sector collaboration, Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisutjipto (ITD Adisutjipto) and the State Vocational School of Aviation Aceh officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing, conducted by the Rector of ITD Adisutjipto and the Headmaster of the State Vocational School of Aviation Aceh, Drs. A. Wahab, on Wednesday (6/12/2023), reflects a commitment to collaborate in the development of science and technology.

The implementation of this MoU includes various initiatives, ranging from teacher internships at ITD Adisutjipto aimed at enhancing competencies in the aerospace field to facilitating the acquisition of basic licenses through ITD Adisutjipto's Technical Implementation Unit (UPT). Additionally, facilitation is provided for students of the State Vocational School of Aviation Aceh to become students at ITD Adisutjipto, creating an integrated educational pathway. Another noteworthy step is the designation of the State Vocational School of Aviation Aceh as an agent of ITD Adisutjipto in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), including serving as a means to collect New Aerospace Student Data (MGBK).

Moreover, this collaboration involves joint efforts to revive several aircraft owned by the State Vocational School of Aviation Aceh, offering practical opportunities for students to understand the aerospace world firsthand. The overall framework of this collaborative effort creates a positive synergy to advance education and research in the field of aerospace in the Aceh region.
