The Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto) has again graduated its alumni whose graduation ceremony was held on Saturday (28/10/2023), at the Indraprasta Grand Ballroom of the Sahid Raya Hotel and Convention Yogyakarta. The graduation ceremony of the Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, was attended by 400 people, distributed across 2 Faculties and 6 Study Programs.
Graduation at T.A. 2023/2024 is a special graduation for ITD Adisutjipto, which is also ITD Adisutjipto's achievement with the highest number of graduates in history, namely 400 graduates/graduates with an average GPA of graduates of 3.24. This figure is up from last year's 3.22 and the highest number of cum laude graduates. There were 84 graduates who received cum laude predicate, which increased from the previous year with 48 graduates or an increase of 175%. The increase in the number of graduates is also an indicator of the increasing quality of the educational process implemented at ITD Adisutjipto in the past year. On average, since the first graduation in 2007, there has been an increase of up to 196% in 2023.
For the top achieving graduates at the ITD Adisutjipto graduation in 2023, for S1, Ryan Elhaythami, S.T. from the Aerospace Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Aerospace Technology, with a GPA of 3.94 and cum laude predicate, with a study period of 3 years 11 months 29 days, while the D3 was achieved by Daniel Satria Nanditaputra, Amd.T. from the Aeronautics Study Program, Faculty of Aerospace Technology, with a GPA of 3.61 and cum laude predicate with a study period of 2 years 11 months 30 days.
The graduation procession was opened by the Chairman of the ITD Senate Adisutjipto, led directly by the Rector of ITD Adisutjipto, First Marshal TNI Dr. Ir. Arwin Datumaya Wahyudi Sumari, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., ACPE. On the occasion of this year's graduation, apart from ITD Chancellor Adisutjipto's speech, a speech by the Chief of Air Staff (Kasau), as Trustee of the Adi Usaha Foundation (Yasau), was also delivered by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Marshal Agustinus Gustaf Brugman, M.Si(Han ). Followed by remarks by Plt. Head of LLDIKTI Region V, Prof. drh. Aris Junaidi, Ph.D. This event was also attended by the General Chairperson of Yasau, First Marshal TNI (Ret.) Dr. Samto Hadi, S.E., M.Si., along with the Yasau Management, Leaders of Private Universities (PTS) under the auspices of Yasau, relevant officials within the Indonesian Air Force, ITD partner Industry Leader Adisutjipto, and other guests.
ITD Adisutjipto has set high standards of academic excellence by focusing on the field of aerospace science and technology which is balanced with providing the aerospace character needed by the Business/Industrial World and has become one of the advantages of ITD Adisutjipto in the current era of technological disruption, namely Honest, Sincere, Diligent , Discipline. Currently ITD Adisutjipto is ranked first in aerospace private universities in Indonesia according to the SINTA Ministry of Education and Research and Technology. For this reason, Rector of ITD Adisutjipto advised alumni to become marketing agents and promote their alma mater wherever they want to pursue a career. Alumni must be able to dedicate their knowledge and expertise to the progress of the Indonesian society, nation and state towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
