The Rector of ITD Adisutjipto, First Marshal TNI Dr. Ir. Arwin Datumaya Wahyudi Sumari, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., ACPE, APEC Eng., received an invitation from the Rector of Universitas Widya Mataram (UWM) Yogyakarta, Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid, to attend a gala dinner with the delegation from Northern Illinois University (NIU), the United States, led by NIU President, Dr. Lisa C. Freeman, on Wednesday (10/1/2024), at Royal Ambarukmo. On this occasion, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITD Adisutjipto and NIU was also conducted, which will be followed by relevant Cooperation Agreements between the two institutions.

This meeting is expected to mark the beginning of a strong and mutually beneficial collaboration between ITD Adisutjipto and NIU. By signing the MoU, both parties are committed to advancing higher education, fostering the growth of new ideas, and promoting the development of science and technology between the two institutions.

It is hoped that this meeting will serve as a foundation for productive collaboration and contribute positively to the development of higher education in Indonesia, especially in the Yogyakarta Special Region, particularly for ITD Adisutjpto to gain recognition in the international higher education community and enrich the tridharma of lecturers and learning experiences for students from both institutions.
