On Thursday, December 7, 2023, ITD Adisutjipto and Syiah Kuala University (USK) in Aceh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration in various fields. The MoU was formally signed by the Rector of ITD Adisutjipto, First Marshal TNI Dr. Ir. Arwin Datumaya Wahyudi Sumari, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., ACPE., APEC Eng., and the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan. The signing ceremony was attended by leaders, faculty members, and stakeholders from both institutions.

The implementation of this MoU will encompass the execution of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in the field of Mechanical Engineering for USK staff. Additionally, it involves active participation in joint international conferences and the development of AAISEIC and AICEEI. Collaboratively, both institutions will co-host the ICELTICS 2024 conference. Other initiatives include coaching aeromodelling athletes and contributing to the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD). Lastly, the collaboration extends to becoming peer partners, exchanging articles, and conducting joint research to collectively elevate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The signing of the MoU between ITD Adisutjipto and USK marks a new era in academic, research, and developmental collaboration, aiming to have a significantly positive impact on the progress of higher education in Indonesia. Through these tangible steps, both institutions affirm their commitment to embracing change collaboratively and achieving shared success in the future.
