The Public Relations Award of the Directorate General of Higher Education and Performance Projections for 2021 is an annual event of the Directorate General of Higher Education which is a form of evaluation and appreciation for public relations management, which is attended by all PTNs (PTN-BH, PTN-BLU, PTN-SATKER) and LLDIKTI within the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture. . This event is in line with the principle of openness of public information to realize the implementation of good governance in public information services.
In 2020, the Director General's Public Relations Award was held online on Wednesday evening, December 23 2020. On that occasion, the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti) also gave appreciation and appreciation to higher education people in the fields of public relations, cooperation, as well as to journalists and higher education media. The three types of awards given include the 2020 Dikti Journalist and Media Award, the 2020 Dikti Public Relations Award, and the Collaboration Report Performance Award.
The 2020 Dikti Journalist and Media Award is an effort by the Directorate General of Higher Education to give appreciation to journalists and media who have contributed to publicizing the programs and policies of the Directorate General of Higher Education so far. The awarding of appreciation to journalists and media is divided into 5 categories, namely Best Print Journalist, Best Online Journalist, Most Popular Journalist, Most Favorite Journalist, and Best Media Supporting Directorate General of Higher Education Programs.
"Apart from that, we are grateful to receive various kinds of input for improvements and find out about problems in society through articles in the media. "Because without synergy with the media, it is difficult to receive feedback or input from the public in a more abstract manner," said Nizam.
Meanwhile, the 2020 Dikti Public Relations Award is a form of award given from the results of monitoring and evaluating the public relations performance of State Universities (PTN) and Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), as well as being a measurement of public relations performance.
Participants who participated in this Public Relations Award included PTN Legal Entities (PTN-BH), PTN Public Service Agencies (BLU), PTN Work Units (Satker), and Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti). The categories given in this award include managing websites, social media, press conferences and press releases, magazines, the most popular public relations personnel and managing public service complaints through LAPOR!. Apart from that, the Collaboration Report Performance Award was also given to LLDikti which has reported the collaboration carried out by private universities in its area with the best performance.
In 2020, Thank God, LLDikti Region V again received an achievement award in 2 categories, namely: Best 1 in the Public Service Complaint Management (LAPOR) Category and Best 1 in the Magazine Category. For this reason, LLDIKTI Region V expresses its highest appreciation and appreciation to universities in Region V Yogyakarta which have actively participated and contributed positively to encourage LLDIKTI Region V to receive awards in this public relations award. The award was handed over symbolically by the Director General of Higher Education Prof. Nizam, via the Zoom Meeting application which was attended by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Chancellor of PTN, Head of LLDikti throughout Indonesia and Public Relations of PTN/LLDikti which was also broadcast via Live Streaming on YouTube, Directorate General of Higher Education.
