The Rector of the Adisutjipto Institute of Aerospace Technology (ITD Adisutjipto), First Marshal of the TNI. Dr. Ir. Arwin Datumaya Wahyudi Sumari, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., ACPE. became the General Leader of the Basic Aerospace Character Formation Training (LDPKK) for ITD Adisutjipto Students, which lasted for 3 (three) days starting on 3 – 5 February 2023. The LDPKK began with the Opening Ceremony which was attended by 66 LDPKK participants, officials, lecturers and employees in the ITD Adisutjipto environment on Friday, (03/02/2023), at the ITD Adisutjipto Central Square. This year's LDPKK took the theme "Increase Your Achievement to Become a Leader with Aerospace Character" and was attended by representatives of the Student Senate, Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Activity Unit (UKM), Student Association (HM) and Aeronautics Study Program students Batch 2022.

This exercise was carried out as a follow-up to the ratification of the new management structure within the Student Senate, BEM, UKM and HM organizations. The training method in the LDPKK T.A. 2022/2023 ITD Adisutjipto is in the form of theory class development, namely Commander, Leadership and State Defense hour material. For field development activities, the activities are in the form of Marches, Jungle Survival, Night Fighting, Field Psychology and Character Building. Aerospace character includes the characters of Honesty, Sincerity, Perseverance and Discipline which are Adisutjipto's ITD values through the process of influencing in determining organizational goals, motivating follower behavior to achieve goals, influencing to improve the group and its culture.

Aerospace Character Formation Basic Training T.A. 2022/2023 ITD Adisutjipto was closed with a Closing Ceremony which was held on Sunday (05/02/2023), at the ITD Adisutjipto Central Square. In the Closing Ceremony, it was announced the Best Participant LDPKK per platoon, Best Platoon 1, Agung Putra Darmawan from Aeronautics Study Program Batch 2022, Best Platoon 2, Nico Candra Winata from Aerospace Engineering Study Program Batch 2021, and Best Platoon 3 went to Hario Sada Sihombing from Study Program Aerospace Engineering Class of 2021, which also won the Best General title. LDPKK participants also received an LDPKK Wing and Brevet Jungle Survival, as a sign of the success of the participants in completing the entire LDPKK series. It is hoped that later the participants will be able to apply the knowledge they have gained in the training to each member of the organization to bring about better changes by upholding the characters of Honesty, Sincerity, Perseverance and Discipline.
