Sugar Seminar "SUGAR INSIGHT 2024" by LPP Yogyakarta Polytechnic in Preparing Superior Indonesia Sugar Human Resources. An international seminar in the field of sugar technology entitled Sugar Inisight was successfully held by LPP Yogyakarta Polytechnic in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth, SED, LPP Agro Nusantara, IKAGI, and AGI at the LPP Yogyakarta Auditorium on February 29, 2024. 

This activity specifically focuses on topics related to the development of sugar industry technology both in Indonesia and internationally, such as collaboration between sugar education and industry in achieving the target of sugar self-sufficiency and the provision of bioethanol, the important role of sugar education for the development of sugar technology, the development of education and training. sugar to prepare human resources to support the sugar industry, technology and best practices in various aspects of the sugar industry such as milling sap extraction, energy efficiency, the latest technology and strategies in testing SOC <40%, to automation that supports the performance of the sugar industry to be more optimal in the future both at national and international levels.

This prestigious event was attended by a series of prestigious speakers who have spanned the world of sugar industry and education, both nationally and internationally. Among the speakers present were Narendra Mohan Director of NSI Kanpur India, Ramit Gupta Director Strategy SED Ltd. India, Aris Toharisman as President Director of PT. Nusantara Sugar Synergy, Yadi Yusriyadi who is an AGI expert, Syaiful Amri who is Assistant Manager of Human Resources and General Affairs PT. RMI, Rakhmat Basuki who serves as Project and Application Manager PT. Bosch Rexroth Indonesia, M. Giri Prabowo as Head of PG Installation Section. Krebet Baru I Malang, Gatot Yogiantoro as Director of PT. Intekco Mechatronics Indonesia, and Dimas Eko Prasetyo as SEVP Ops 1 SGN.

Apart from material packaged in talk show and seminar panel formats, there is also material demonstrating the latest technology that can be used to support the performance of the sugar industry. This material presentation was delivered directly by Bosch Rexroth which is trusted in the fields of mobile applications, factory automation, machine manufacturing and engineering. With a combination of written knowledge and demonstrations of the latest technology, it is hoped that this activity can become a benchmarking and transformation point for sugar practitioners to be able to develop the sugar industry in Indonesia into a leading and trusted industry in becoming one of the country's best foreign exchange contributors as well as a driver of self-sufficiency. sugar in the future.
This international seminar succeeded in attracting 130 participants consisting of representatives from the sugar industry who attended from all regions in Indonesia, students, and the general public.
