On Thursday (15/01/2024), the Alumni Career Preparation Workshop with the theme "Successful Career Strategies in the Digital Era" was conducted online via Zoom. This event served as a platform provided by ITD Adisutjipto for final semester students and alumni, aiming to prepare themselves to face the continuously evolving challenges of the job market. Conducted virtually through Zoom meetings, the event featured various engaging speakers. The first speaker, Colonel (Ret.) Drs. Suyoko, M.Si., delivered a presentation on leadership, emphasizing its fundamental role in achieving success in this digital era. The ability to lead oneself and others, as well as adapt to technological changes and market dynamics, is crucial. By understanding the principles of effective leadership, alumni can become dynamic agents of change in their workplaces.
The second speaker, Air Marshal (Ret.) TNI Dra. Veronica Triastuti Widyaningrum, M.A., continued with tips and tricks on crafting CVs, cover letters, undergoing psychometric tests, and handling interviews. She emphasized the importance of mastering the skills to create compelling CVs and cover letters. Alumni need to understand how to present themselves professionally and highlight their strengths. Equally important is preparing for subsequent selection stages such as psychometric tests and interviews. Alumni need to grasp strategies and tricks to answer questions accurately and leave a positive impression on the company. By learning effective psychometric test and interview techniques, alumni can enhance their chances of success in securing jobs in this digital era.
Furthermore, the event included alumni sharing sessions delivered by alumni from each program at ITD Adisutjipto. These alumni included Saras Triseno working at PT Bintang Mas Triyasa, Fiko Borizqy at Limesharp Internet Ltd., Febriardy Fathur Hanif at PT Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia, Saifuddiin Azis Qurthubiy at Nasmoco Cilacap, Kenny Nanda Helin at Japan Airlines, and Ichsan David Utomo at GMF Aeroasia Jakarta. Through the experiences and successes of alumni from various programs, it is hoped that students can learn a lot and gain valuable inspiration and insights to navigate the increasingly complex and dynamic world of work.
