UNISA Yogyakarta Provides Health Services to Sunday Wage Study Congregations

`Aisyiyah University (UNISA) Yogyakarta held a community service program by providing health services for the congregation of the Sunday Wage Leadership of `Aisyiyah (PRA) Branch on Sunday (31/03), held at the PRA Nogotirto Village Hall in the context of Ramadhan Recitation and Social Service.

The event was attended by the Regent of Sleman, Kustini and the Chair of the Central Leadership `Aisyiyah Hajah Latifah Iskandar who also gave tausiyah. The involvement of UNISA Yogyakarta lecturers, consisting of Dewi Amanatun Suryani as chair of the organizing committee, Dian Retnaning Diah, Indriani, and Anindita Sagata as the Health division who is assisted by students, is a concrete manifestation of service to the assisted communities around the UNISA Yogyakarta campus.

According to Dewi Amanatun, the number of residents receiving health service assistance this year reached 586 heads of families (KK), a decrease compared to the previous year which reached 600 families.

"Some of the aid funds were diverted in the form of educational compensation, this is also our commitment as UNISA Yogyakarta lecturers to pay attention to various aspects of community needs," said Dewi.

Apart from providing basic food assistance, these activities also include educational exhibitions, bazaars and health checks. This health service includes blood pressure, uric acid, blood sugar checks, physiotherapy and nutritional consultations.

Community enthusiasm was very high in registering and all of them were served until the end of the event. People who regularly have health checks come from various hamlets and are members of the `Aisyiyah Elderly Posyandu.
