In this era of globalization, the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has become crucial in supporting the economic growth of a country. The Indonesian government, through the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, is committed to developing MSMEs by initiating the Partnership-Based MSME Development Program. ITD Adisutjipto responds to this initiative by implementing a partnership-based MSME development program that emphasizes innovation in the aerospace technology field. One of the flagship programs implemented by ITD Adisutjipto is the "SMART ADAPTIVE ROTOR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (SAR UAV)," specifically designed to support the agricultural sector in the Galur region of Kulon Progo.
On Monday (12/11/2023), a workshop themed "Business Management of SAR UAV Sprayer Spraying" was held in the Karangsewu and Tirtorahayu villages. This workshop aims to provide a deep understanding to MSME actors in agriculture about the application of SAR UAV technology in the pesticide spraying process and crop maintenance. The workshop not only provides theoretical knowledge but also practical guidance on the effective use of SAR UAV Sprayers. Participants are invited to understand the direct implementation of this advanced technology so that it can be applied optimally in their daily activities.
On the same day, ITD Adisutjipto also conducted a Workshop on the Operational Management of SAR UAV Sprayers in the Karangsewu and Tirtorahayu villages. This workshop focuses on operational aspects, including the maintenance of SAR UAVs, management of generated data, and solving technical problems that may arise during use. Active participation from MSME actors, farmers, and young people from both villages creates a dynamic and collaborative learning environment. Interactive discussions between participants and workshop facilitators encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences, which is a crucial foundation for enhancing the capacity of MSMEs in adopting SAR UAV technology.
The successful implementation of this workshop serves as a positive indicator of the effectiveness of the Partnership-Based MSME Development Program by ITD Adisutjipto. It is hoped that MSMEs in the agricultural sector will continue to grow and make a significant contribution to the local and national economy, in line with the adoption of innovative technologies such as SAR UAV.
